Happy Father’s Day from all of us. This was taken last year while my husband was at the VA Hospital in Palo Alto, CA.
May your day be filled with ugly ties and unidentifiable cards and clay sculptures!
April 22, 2010 sucked ass. My husband's vehicle rolled over in Iraq and was bedridden for two months and in a wheelchair for four.
Recovery is a bitch. So are PTSD, TriCare, etcetera etcetera.
I have to find the silver lining in all of this. It isn't always obvious but perhaps if someone could rub Nutella all over it, I'd find it much faster.
Our children were 8, 5, and 3 at the time of the accident. It's been a helluva time for them but we will get through it.

Not sure if you can tell by the picture but he was still in a wheelchair at the time. I think the kids were just happy we were FINALLY celebrating a Father’s Day together.
