I beat my first 5K time by about a minute. Not too shabby, eh? I saw a couple of friends from the first 5K I ran in November. They were doing the 10K and I’ll be damned if that wasn’t a sign to sign up for a 10K!

April 22, 2010 sucked ass. My husband's vehicle rolled over in Iraq and was bedridden for two months and in a wheelchair for four.
Recovery is a bitch. So are PTSD, TriCare, etcetera etcetera.
I have to find the silver lining in all of this. It isn't always obvious but perhaps if someone could rub Nutella all over it, I'd find it much faster.
Our children were 8, 5, and 3 at the time of the accident. It's been a helluva time for them but we will get through it.
