A wanted her hair braided in the shape of a heart. Then she got… glitter spray!
I should have done a tutorial but we were short on time. So get a roll of something light (I used a roll of tulle; an empty water bottle will do) and place it on top of the kid’s head. Then have the kid hold the hair down while you bundle up the hair and form a tight ponytail on top of the object. I secured the hair down with more and smaller hair ties so the tulle wouldn’t fall off of her head. Secure with more barrettes and use glitter spray.
