Less than ninety minutes to the start of National Novel Writing Month.
No outlines. No character sketches.
A couple of ideas on paper but that’s it.
Fifty thousand words. Thirty days.
Can’t take days off from being a mom. Still have to work as many days as I can.
Oh, and did I mention my husband leaves in four days?
You know I love a challenge…
April 22, 2010 sucked ass. My husband's vehicle rolled over in Iraq and was bedridden for two months and in a wheelchair for four.
Recovery is a bitch. So are PTSD, TriCare, etcetera etcetera.
I have to find the silver lining in all of this. It isn't always obvious but perhaps if someone could rub Nutella all over it, I'd find it much faster.
Our children were 8, 5, and 3 at the time of the accident. It's been a helluva time for them but we will get through it.
We will.
