This year my husband and I found ourselves wrapping less this year, comfortable is knowing that less is more and any insecurities about not buying enough for others only exists in our heads.
What a wonderful feeling!
You know how right before Christmas people are kinder and cognizant of others? Here’s to remembering and feeling that spirit all year round.

April 22, 2010 sucked ass. My husband's vehicle rolled over in Iraq and was bedridden for two months and in a wheelchair for four.
Recovery is a bitch. So are PTSD, TriCare, etcetera etcetera.
I have to find the silver lining in all of this. It isn't always obvious but perhaps if someone could rub Nutella all over it, I'd find it much faster.
Our children were 8, 5, and 3 at the time of the accident. It's been a helluva time for them but we will get through it.
We will.
